The purpose of this program is to conduct Research and Extension activities that focus on hydrology and water quality of the southern Everglades and the farmlands of Miami-Dade County.  The Extension component seeks to create and make available information and educational materials about water in agricultural production and in natural resources that will improve the compatibility of agriculture with the surrounding natural ecosystem and expanding urban population in south Florida.
