The purpose of this program is to conduct Research and Extension activities that focus on hydrology and water quality of the southern Everglades and the farmlands of Miami-Dade County.
- Agricultural sustainability considering environmental and economic aspects related to water quality and quantity.
- Water resource management including sustenance of water supplies for designated uses (e.g., drinking water, native ecosystems, tourism, agriculture, residential/urban supplies)
