Tempe Cell & Pressure Plate Investigations

Soil moisture curves provide the relationship between soil water tension and volumetric water content.  These curves are used to assist with understanding plant water needs, estimating irrigation rates, and calibrating electronic sensor equipment.  Because of the unique soils in south Florida, this is an invaluable tool as common literature values do not provide good estimation of these parameters.
