Weather has become the most difficult obstacle in completing my banana cultivars section.  After big winds and rain from Hurricane Irene many of the banana Pseudo-stems barring any fruit load fell to the ground.  Some Mattes looked like small bombs went off next to them and it now becomes impossible to drive up and down the rows.  As a solution, I've collected nearly 20 of the downed mature fruit bunches and have them hanging from exposed rafters in one of TREC's storage houses.  I call it my banana installation.
