UF Software Copyright Disclosure

If questioned about violated computer software copyright laws or license agreements, you must be able to prove that you tried to prevent illegal software usage by the people who report to you or to whom you provide computer access. Otherwise, you are liable, and so is the University -- even if you didn't know a violation was occurring!

This site provides you with the materials you need to help your department learn and comply with Software Copyright guidelines. Awareness and training materials are provided which you may use in your efforts to educate departmental personnel.
