Welcome to TREC IT Request for Support Services page. I understand your frustrations with "error dialog boxes", installing software & hardware, email issues, viruses, stagnated screens, networking and just plain unexplainable occurrences.
I will do my best to provide expedient and professional service, but will need your assistance in order to do this by asking you to utilize the provided IT Support Service Request for all your computer-related and perpherial needs.
Please use the IT Support Request Form for all computer requests and place it in my office mailbox, drop off at my office or email me at mmfrederick@ufl.edu. If a request is URGENT, it will be attended to immediately. All other requests will be completed within 24 hours and in the order they are received. You will also find ITsupport request forms on the door outside my office and on the "UNIT " network drive of the TREC server.
Please be specific with error descriptions or hardware malfunctions. This will help speed up the service process and serve as a reference guide for me.
TREC IT is not responsible for username and password assignments. You can create your Gatorlink username and password by accessing MYUFL home page as long as you are a registered student or employee and have a UFID number. It is your responsibilty to keep your user information secure and not share it with anyone other than IFAS or TREC IT. This is a priviledge and can be revoked.
