One Night in the Tropics - 2026
One Night in the Tropics is the UF/IFAS Tropical Research & Education Center's premier fundraising event. The event is hosted on the first Saturday in November, which is recognized as Farmer's Month in Miami-Dade County.
This year One Night in the Tropics will be hosted on our campus located in the Redland Agricultural Area of Miami-Dade County on November 7, 2026. You’ll enjoy good food, great music and dancing, and the company of UF/IFAS TREC's world-class scientists amid tropical fruit-filled groves and ornamental plants.
