One Night in the Tropics is the UF/IFAS Tropical Research & Education Center's premier fundraising event. The event is hosted on the first Saturday in November, which is recognized as Miami-Dade Farmer's Month in Miami-Dade County.

For the second year in a row, the 8th annual One Night in the Tropics will be hosted on campus at the UF/IFAS TREC on November 5, 2022.

You’ll enjoy good food, great music, and the company of some of south Florida’s premier researchers and scientists.
