Water Resources
The Water Resources Extension program (as part of the UF/IFAS Water Initiative) conducts state-wide and local extension activities related to water conservation.
Extension programs include urban and agricultural audiences with the goal to provide information for better management and conservation of our water resources. Irrigation scheduling and management are primary components of this extension program.

Dr. Her’s extension programs provide information and tools to help stakeholders make decisions and implement management practices toward conserving or protecting agricultural and natural resources at their farms, homes, and workplaces. The programs help improve the sustainability of agriculture and water resources in Florida by increasing the capacity of the community to evaluate and adapt to future projected changes in climate, sea level, land use, and management practices.
