Ornamental Plant Entomology
The ornamental entomology Extension program at the Tropical Research and Education Center (TREC) provides information and training in identification, scouting, and management of pests and beneficial arthropods.
An emphasis is placed on providing current information on recently introduced, invasive pests and how to identify and manage them. Information and training is also provided on general entomology, pest management, biological control, use of insecticides, and pesticide training.
